Southern Zone Sport

Seaview High School offers a wide range of Extracurricular Sporting Activities (ESA) to students, including Southern Zone Sport. Any Seaview High School student can participate in Southern Zone Sport. There is no application and/or trial process required to be involved. Southern Zone Sport promotes participation and playing sport with friends. It is the perfect opportunity to try a new sport, improve current skills and meet new people.


Season 1 (Term 1, Week 4 – Week 11)
Season 2 (Term 2, Week 4 – Term 3, Week 4)
Season 3 (Term 3, Week 7 – Term 4, Week 6)


When: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Location: Schools in the southern zone area
Cost: $50.00 per sport, per season (Netball $70.00). You can pay online using QKR! or make a payment to Student Services using cash or card.

Once student have registered they are required to collect a Medical Consent Form from Clayton Blackmore-Wells (Specialised Learning Programs Officer) during recess or lunch (Gym Office). Completed forms and payment must be returned to Student Services prior to the due date. Limited positions are available.


Home game: Students who have a home game are expected to head directly to the Gymnasium after school to get changed into their sports uniform. Once students are ready they must assist their coach with set up.
Away game: Students who have an away match are expected to leave class at 2:50pm (Netball 2:45pm) and head directly to the Gymnasium to get changed into their sports uniform. Once students have changed into their sports uniform they are to meet their coach in the Gymnasium foyer.
