Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to build on the interests and talents of the young people in our care. A number of special interest programs that complement the general curriculum are available through select entry and provide opportunities for acceleration and extension.
The partnerships we form with our students and their families are integral to the way we work as a school. Learner Voice is valued and fostered to ensure students are active participants in the learning process; they co-design tasks, contribute to assessment, provide feedback to teachers, and inform decision making across the school.
Our BYOD program and online Learner Management system, which includes a “real time” Parent Portal, allows our families to be involved in their child’s learning journey. DAYMAP provides 24/7 access to the curriculum, assessment tasks, attendance and achievement records.
As a Specialist School for Dance, STEM & Advanced Technologies we are proud of our innovative approach to learning and our strong focus on digital technologies and the application of problem-solving, creativity and critical thinking skills, across all year levels and areas of study. Students also have access to a number of entrepreneurial and careers programs, which are aligned strategically to local business and community groups, enabling students to plan purposefully for life beyond school.
