We are committed to providing high-quality sporting facilities for our students and the community. That’s why, starting 8 December 2025, Seaview High School’s main oval will undergo essential upgrades to its turf and irrigation systems.

This work is a necessary investment to bring our oval up to a standard where it can safely and effectively support school programs, community use, and club sport. While the oval will be fenced off for public safety until late January, the remainder of the school grounds will remain open.

We understand this is a valued community space, and we regret the temporary inconvenience. However, conducting the works during the holidays keeps disruption for students to a minimum. Once complete, the oval will deliver lasting benefits for all who use it.

This project is part of a $4.5 million project to upgrade our oval and sports facilities which is being achieved through a partnership with the Glenelg Football Club, the SANFL, and the Department for Education.
