✏️Year 7 students put their writing and teamwork skills to the test during Ms Kenzie's English class yesterday with a lively game of POPSMARS Ping Pong.
POPSMARS stands for Personification, Onomatopoeia, Powerful Language, Simile, Metaphor, Alliteration, Repetition and Sense Words. Working in teams, students bounced a ping pong ball into cups labelled with different literary devices. Once they landed the shot, they had to think quickly and write a line of poetry using the literary device they had selected.

We're looking forward to a range of opportunities, events and activities that Term 3 will bring, like; VET counselling, 2027 subject selection interviews, Science Week and Book Week with competitions and dress-up activities, Wear It Purple and R U OK? Day, the annual Staff vs Students Glazbrook Shield netball and volleyball matches, Music Night, and a range of sporting events.
